Where do I get a Gemini API Key?

Visit Google AI Studio at aistudio.google.com/apikey to create a free API key. Paste it into the SiteScan extension Options page.

Extension button does not open the side panel?

In Chrome, pin SiteScan to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle icon. Clicking the SiteScan icon opens the Chrome side panel automatically. Alternatively, click the Chrome Side Panel icon in the top right and select SiteScan from the dropdown menu.

Why did capture fail on certain internal pages?

Chrome security restrictions prevent all extensions from executing content scripts on browser internal pages such as chrome://, chrome-extension://, or the Chrome Web Store gallery itself. SiteScan works on all standard http:// and https:// websites.
